Highlights from Our Blood Pressure Events During Know Your Numbers Week

Last week,Primary Care Doncaster was proud to host several blood pressure events as part of Know Your Numbers Week. These events provided our community with the opportunity to check their blood pressure and receive advice from healthcare professionals. Over the course of the week, we set up events across multiple locations, including Doncaster Market, Woodlands Library, King Chambers, and Rossington Miners, some of which took place alongside our Health Van service.

Throughout the events, we were thrilled to see over 40 attendees who came to check their blood pressure. Many of them took the time to have meaningful discussions with our team about their health, and 100% of participants said they found the pop-up events useful.

One of the key takeaways from our conversations was that 52% of participants were unaware of any pre-existing conditions, which emphasizes the importance of regular check-ups and monitoring. These events were a valuable opportunity for individuals to take control of their health and identify any potential concerns early on.

Our Blood Pressure Events were part of the larger Know Your Numbers Week initiative, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of monitoring blood pressure to prevent heart disease, stroke, and other health issues. We are pleased with the level of engagement and participation from the community, and we encourage everyone to keep monitoring their blood pressure regularly.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made these events a success. We’re grateful for the continued support and look forward to hosting more health-focused initiatives in the future.
