Every month, we take a moment to shine a spotlight on the hard work and dedication demonstrated by our Primary Care colleagues. The ‘Star of the Month’ award is our way of saying ‘thank you’ and recognising those who have made a remarkable difference to our patients and in the workplace.
Whether it’s going the extra mile, bringing innovative ideas to the table, or providing exceptional patient care, if you’ve noticed a colleague who truly stands out, we encourage you to let us know. Your nomination is an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of our staff, who contribute tirelessly to the well-being of everyone we serve.

Star of the Month – March 2024
in recognition of her 34 years of service to the NHS, providing care and treatments to thousands of patients. She will retire this month and she will be missed by everyone!
Ruth Robson – February 2024
in recognition of her empathy and the way she supports patients dealing with cancer diagnosis. So many patients have commented how her support has made a difference for them.
Jo Gill –
January 2024
in recognition of her fantastic dedication and her positive attitude in supporting patients and staff. She’s a true people person, and the staff and patients love her and her bubbly personality.
Julie Utley – November 2023

Kingthorne Team – October 2023
in recognition of the incredible teamwork of 5 team members who swiftly performed CPR during a critical cardiac arrest situation that occurred at the practice.
South Covid Team – September 2023
in recognition of their incredible support in planning Care Home visits in addition to their daily tasks. Their dedication to the programme has been outstanding.

in recognition of her resilience during the holiday season and additional staffing level issues. She has gone above and beyond her role over the course of the summer.

in recognition of her constant support to the whole North PCN team and always being available to organise sessions and meetings with a proactive approach.

in recognition of her hard work and dedication in making sure practices catch up on backlogs and going above and beyond, including working during the evenings and weekends.

in recognition of her perseverance and determination this month in overcoming a major problem on a tight deadline and for all the time she constantly puts into her job.

in recognition of going above and beyond to reach the finals of the Dragon Den as part of the Behavioural Science Academy, where she will be shortly graduating from Cohort 2.
