Welcome Josh to the PCD Team!

This month we have welcomed a new member to the PCD Corporate team! Josh Andrusiak has joined the team as Data Quality and Governance officer, the main purpose of his role is to support our team within our clinical systems to ensure we are following all safety procedures to a high standard.

Previously, Josh’s last position was based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital as a Senior Pharmacy QA Officer, based in the Pharmacy Production department. He performed Release Officer duties by assessing chemotherapies and other medicines aseptically manufactured in the department before authorising their release for dispensing, and he maintained and expanded the Quality Management System.

In his spare time Josh plays bass guitar and writes music, goes to music and comedy gigs, goes to the gym, takes his dogs hiking in the Peaks & Lakes, and plays videogames. He is also a big foodie so is always hunting down the next restaurant I want to try!

Josh is most looking forward to getting to grips with the systems in place at Primary Care Doncaster, understanding more the intricacies of primary care, putting his own stamp on the role, doing what he can to help improve the service and business, and most of all getting to know everybody better.
