Practice Manager Conference 2025

On Tuesday, 18th November, we were delighted to host our second Practice Manager Conference, bringing together practices from across all Doncaster localities for a day of open discussion, collaboration and connection.

The event provided a safe and supportive space to share experiences, explore operational challenges, and offer perspectives on the evolving concept of a GP-led Neighbourhood Health Service. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the reality of daily practice life and contribute ideas for shaping the future of primary care in Doncaster.

Attendees had the chance to meet Primary Care Doncaster’s new CEO, Michael Shaw, connect with colleagues from our HR, Governance, and Finance teams, and learn more about the wider support available to practices.

We were pleased to welcome Bex Cottey, Practice Manager at Conisbrough Group Practice, who delivered a brilliant talk on her role as a Peer Ambassador, and the South Yorkshire Training Hub joined us to discuss the Oliver McGowan training and its importance in making services more inclusive.

With lively discussions, strong engagement, and valuable networking throughout the day, it was a meaningful and insightful event for everyone involved.

Thank you to all who attended and contributed to this event!
