Welcome Karen to the team!

Last week we welcomed another addition to the team! Karen Pemberton-Carroll started with us on 22nd November as a Project Coordinator and will join the Business Development team.

Karen is excited to be joining a dynamic team that shares her caring and supportive values, and passion to make a difference to others, at a time of growth and expansion. Previously, Karen has held positions in education and graduate recruitment – roles that have taken her to some fascinating places around the world.  More recently, Karen has enjoyed pursuing courses in Makaton and volunteering in the Charity sector to help people with Aphasia regain their speech, confidence and their self-esteem.

Outside of work, Karen gets involved with her local scout group and manages a grassroots football team. Above all, she loves going on active family days out and participating in 5km parkruns with her husband and two sons.
