Welcome Dawn to the team!

Dawn Skelland-Thornton joined the team on Monday 29 November, as the East PCN Coordinator. She joined PCD as she wanted to make a difference to the East PCN and the patients. Dawn originally joined PCD as a Care Coordinator within the East PCN, prior to this, Dawn has always worked within the private industry in various sectors. Her last role was running a large Physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, treating both private & NHS patients through the First2physio service provider, aswell as working with consultants & health care professionals from all over the country.

In her spare time, Dawn likes to take part in competition bench rest, air rifle shooting alongside her Husband. In this summers midlands league, she was the highest placed female and top eight across both men and women. She is also the highest placed female at her gun range. She loves reading! and has approximately read 100 books so far this year, ranging from sci-fi, romantic, mystery, biographies and autobiographies. She loves to get lost in a book!

Dawn is excited to be working within the face paced environment at PCD and hopes she will be able to mould and continue to grow by helping the GP practices & patients within the East PCN.
